この度リヒトギャラリーでは、Phaidon社から新しい書籍「Ronan Bouroullec : Day After Day」の出版を記念し、ロナン・ブルレックによるサイン会を開催致します。

「セルフポートレートであり、日記であり、マニフェストである」と表現される本書は、彼自身が2014年から2022年の間に撮影した2750点以上の写真に、英語とフランス語のキャプションを添えて構成されたビジュアルブック。日々の風景やアトリエでの制作過程など、ロナン自身が撮影した写真を通して、彼の多作なキャリアと創作プロセスに迫ります。

当日会場にてご購入いただきました書籍にロナンが直筆でサインを施すほか、書籍に掲載されたプリント（またはイメージ）も限定販売いたします。

一日限りのイベントとなり、またロナンが在廊する貴重な機会となります。皆様にご来場いただきロナンの世界観を体感していただければと思います。

Ronan Bouroullec (ロナン・ブルレック)
1971年、フランス・カンペール生まれのデザイナー。90年代初頭から10年ほどソロでデザインに従事。その頃より、Cappellini、Ligne Rosetなどとの国際的な活動が高く評価され、ポンピドゥーセンターやニューヨーク近代美術館（MoMA）に作品が収蔵されている。2000年代に入り弟のエルワンと共にRonan & Erwan Bouroullec として活動し、世界で最も活躍するデザインデュオとなった。現在ではそれぞれ違う方向性でデザイン活動をしており、近年ロナンはドローイングや陶板作品などのアートワークをギャラリーから多く発表。絵を描くことは幼い頃より取り組んでおり「自分の言語である」と話すほどに大切なライフワークとなっている。

LICHT Gallery is pleased to announce a book signing by Ronan Bouroullec to celebrate the publication of his new book "Ronan Bouroullec : Day After Day" from Phaidon.

Described as "a self-portrait, a diary, and a manifesto," the book is a visual book composed of over 2,750 photographs taken between 2014 and 2022, with captions in English and French. Through Ronan's own photographs of daily scenes and the creative process in his atelier, the book provides an insight into his prolific career and creative process.

Ronan will personally sign books purchased at the event, and will also sell a limited number of prints (or images) from the books.

This will be a one-day event and a rare opportunity to see Ronan in the gallery, so please come and experience Ronan's worldview.

Ronan Bouroullec
Born in 1971 in Quimper, France, Ronan Bouroullec has been working as a solo designer for 10 years since the early 1990s. In the 2000s, he and his brother Erwan joined forces as Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec and became one of the most active design duos in the world. In recent years, Ronan has been exhibiting his artwork, such as drawings and ceramics, in galleries, while Erwan has been working on a series of drawings and ceramics. Drawing has been an important part of his life's work since he was a child, and he describes it as "my language.
