この度、LICHT galleryでは、フランスを代表するデザイナー、ロナン・ブルレックの企画展を開催いたします。

家具やオブジェクトのデザインからドローイングまで、幅広い領域で創作活動を展開するロナン・ブルレック。その作品には、形や色彩、素材の可能性を探る一貫した姿勢が表れています。本展では、28点のドローイングを日本のリソグラフで印刷した新刊『Dessins Vol. 1』を紹介するほか、minä perhonenとの協業から生まれたロナン・ブルレックデザインのラグ『ma』を世界初公開いたします。さらに、今年のミラノサローネや3daysofdesignで発表されたプロダクトをはじめ、新刊用とLICHTでの企画展用に制作された2種類のポスターなどを展示。立体と平面という枠組みにとらわれない作品を通して、ロナン・ブルレックの創作の現在をご紹介します。

会期中には、ロナン・ブルレックを迎え、新刊のサイン会と、皆様にご参加いただけるレセプ ションを開催いたします。日時などの詳細は下記をご確認ください。

ロナン・ブルレック（Ronan Bouroullec）
1971年、フランス・カンペール生まれ。現代のデザイン界を代表するデザイナーのひとり。プロダクトデザインの分野において、伝統的な手工技術と工業生産を融合させたデザインが国際的に高く評価されている。近年は活動の幅をさらに広げ、教会の修復プロジェクトなどにも取り組むほ高く評価されている。近年は活動の幅をさらに広げ、教会の修復プロジェクトなどにも取り組むほか、長年続けてきたドローイングや陶板作品といったパーソナルワークも注目を集めている。

LICHT gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of work by Ronan Bouroullec, one of France’s leading designers.

From furniture and objects to drawing, Ronan Bouroullec works across a wide range of creative fields. His work reflects an ongoing exploration of the possibilities of form, colour and materials. The exhibition introduces his new book, Dessins Vol. 1, featuring 28 drawings printed in Japan using risography,alongside the world premiere of “ma”, a rug designed by Ronan Bouroullec in collaboration with minä perhonen. Also on display are products unveiled at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan and 3daysofdesign, as well as two posters, one created for the new book and the other for the exhibition at LICHT. Through works that move beyond the boundaries of two and three dimensions, the exhibition offers a glimpse into Ronan Bouroullec’s current creative practice.

During the exhibition, we will welcome Ronan Bouroullec for a signing of his new book and a reception open to everyone. Please see below for dates and details.

Ronan Bouroullec
Born in Quimper, France, in 1971, Ronan Bouroullec is one of the leading figures in contemporary design. His product design, which brings together traditional craftsmanship and industrial production, has received international acclaim. In recent years, he has broadened his practice to include projects such as church restoration. His longstanding personal work, including drawings and ceramic panels, has also attracted considerable attention.

A reception will be held in the presence of Ronan Bouroullec. Everyone is welcome, and no reservation isrequired. Admission may be restricted depending on crowd levels.
