この度ギャラリーLICHTでは、雑誌『Ilmm』（アイエルエムエム）による企画展「Design Journal #0」を開催いたします。

雑誌『Ilmm』は、2024年春にスタートしたデザイン専門誌。世界各国のデザイナーによるプロダクトやインテリアを軸に、建築やグラフィックなどを含めた広範な領域。年2回刊行というペースにふさわしく、充実したインタビューと豊富なビジュアルを中心に誌面が構成されています。『Ilmm #0』では、サビーヌ・マルセリス、コンスタンティン・グルチッチ、セシリエ・マンツらにインタビューした記事が掲載されています。

企画展「Design Journal #0」では、2種類の表紙が選べる『Ilmm #0』を販売するほか、誌面に登場するデザイナーが手掛けた一部プロダクトや書籍、フォトグラファーの原田教正が誌面用に撮影したプリントも販売。展示構成は書籍発売元であるデザインスタジオFLOOATが手がけます。書籍に止まらず、『Ilmm #0』を立体的に体験できる試みは、世界の多様なクリエイションをよりリアルに感じ取れる機会となります。

Gallery LICHT is pleased to present "Design Journal #0", a special exhibition by the magazine "Ilmm".

Ilmm" magazine is a design magazine launched in the spring of 2024. It covers a wide range of areas, including architecture and graphics, with a focus on products and interiors by designers from around the world. As befits its biannual publication pace, the magazine is composed mainly of rich interviews and abundant visuals. In "Ilmm #0," interviews with Sabine Marcelis, Konstantin Grcic, Cecilie Manz, and others are featured.

At the "Design Journal #0" exhibition, "Ilmm #0" will be available in two different cover styles, as well as some products and books by the designers featured in the magazine, and prints photographed for the magazine by photographer Norimasa Harada. The exhibition will be organized by Design Studio FLOOAT, the publisher of the book. This attempt to experience "Ilmm #0" not only in book form, but also in three-dimensional form, will provide an opportunity to get a more realistic sense of the diverse creations from around the world.
